Day 1 in MIT Sloan Fellows Class 2023
I just finished Day 1 Sloan Fellows Class 2023.
Today is also Day 1 of June orientation.
A lot of networking events and conversations happened there.
Starting from welcome messages from Dean and Assistant Dean, I am really proud of being a member of MIT and this enthusiastic leader.
They introduced fundamental principles in Sloan school again and again.
"Mind and hands"
"No students left behind"
And
"To develop principled, innovative leaders who improve the world and to generate ideas that advance management practice. "
The next session was "talk about what we don't know yourself", which made us disclose our private topics in front of 113 members of our class.
And then, we got some instructions about D&I and academic integrity. MIT is a diverse and inclusive organisation that embraces phycological and physical safety.
In networking, there were a bunch of impressive stories. My cohort is literally talented rockstars.
I completely forgot what I should tell them, so I failed to tell my story in a dormitory inside the Buddist temple.
We have a number. My number was 1310. Our teacher managed us with these serial numbers. I'm not kidding. I was not in prison. That's what really happened in 2001 in Japan!
Anyway, I started my one-year journey and can't wait for many exciting experiences.
